Councilmembers Ford, Gantt, and Lewis Ward Complete Robert Knox Leadership Institute Training

Stockbridge Councilmembers Anthony S. Ford, LaKeisha Gantt, and Regina Lewis Ward completed training from the Robert Knox Municipal Leadership Institute with the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).

The Robert Knox Municipal Leadership Institute, a cooperative effort of GMA, is an intensive multi-day seminar that focuses on helping city officials enhance and sharpen their leadership skills.  Facilitated in party by a nationally recognized training development consultant, the Leadership Institute includes interactive simulation exercise that confronts participants with the daily problems of governing and ultimately demonstrates the necessity of communication and collaboration in achieving good governance.

Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, research, training, employee benefit, and technical consulting services to its over 500 member cities.
