Stockbridge's BridgeFest Provides
Ultimate Family Experience
Stockbridge, Georgia- September 28, 2018- The City of Stockbridge presents the ultimate family experience with BridgeFest, the premiere art and entertainment festival of the South Side of Atlanta. This year's festival officially kicks off on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 7 pm with the family movie Coco and free block party at Stockbridge City Hall Lawn located at 4640 North Henry Boulevard in Stockbridge, Georgia. The family fun continues at Stockbridge City Hall Lawn on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12 pm to 8 pm with live music, food, vendors and more activities than in previous years. The entertainment line-up is quite impressive, including music from various genres.  
"The entertainment line-up is one for all community members," said Stockbridge Events Manager Cie Cie Wilson McGhee. "We are offering pop, jazz and R&B music for the entire family. I am urging everyone to prepare to have the best fun ever. Our musical and dance acts will have you out of your seats. BridgeFest 2018 is your community event! We are anticipating a rather large crowd this weekend. Don't miss the fun."  
There will be 2 different stages featuring popular acts. The entertainment line-up includes the King of Pop Live Experience which is a world renown Michael Jackson tribute artist with more than 18, 000 performances. BridgeFest 2018 will also feature the Atlanta Sound Band, an acclaimed pop musical group. Stockbridge's native group Marc Ware & Shiloh will also be performing for the crowd. Other acts performing include Fernanda, Toni Redd, Something for the Soul, King Danske, the Breeze Kings and the Caribbean Dancers of Atlanta. All entertainment is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the free concerts. The fun starts at 12 pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018, rain or shine. The inaugural car show presented by Stockbridge Main Street titled "Muscle Mystique" will be occurring at 1 pm on Saturday as well. The entire festival concludes at 8 pm.
